The first night in Greenland, with the dancing Aurora Borealis. A rare night with no wind and I was able to set up a tripod and do a longer exposure without the camera shaking from the near constant strong winds we usually encountered every day and night. It was a magical night. All the years of preparations and stress of getting it all together and here we were, in the vast expanses of the Greenland icecap all alone...it was as quiet as the world can be.
